Summary:		Global average daily protein supply from freshwater fish per capita. This represents the average amount of protein from poultry available for human consumption and does not necessarily represent how much is consumed or how much is available in a given country/region.
Method:		The FAO collects data from countries on production of freshwater fish. The amount available for human consumption is calculated after accounting for other uses and losses. Protein content is calculated from the average composition of freshwater fish. The FAO does not provide an assessment of uncertainty and this value should be considered approximate.
