Summary: Standing population of all livestock in 2020. Livestock includes the following: asses, buffalo, camelids and camels, cattle, chicken, ducks, geese and guinea fowl, goats, horses, mule, pigeons and other small fowl, swine, rabbits, rodents, sheep, and turkeys.
Method: Value is self reported by countries. In cases where data is missing or inaccurately reported, estimates are made using statistical yearbooks and other sources. This value represents an estimate of the standing population.
